Volcanoes (Home Demo 2003)

from Soft Invaders (The Ones That Got Away) by Villareal

/

about

A song written about Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys. Recorded at home and somehow forgotten about. Which is a shame as i would have loved thsi to have been on the first Villareal album SPOOK FREQUENCY (2004).
Some nice touches here, from Beau & Jennie's backing vocals to the intimacy of Matt's drumming onto the wonky 8-track recorder. One of my favourites, hence why it gets to open this album!
